Use file tags to assign keywords that you and others can use to find files or to group files in a meaningful way, such as by project name or function. Then use tags to filter your file search.
You can tag files that you own or files you have Editor access to. You can use tags to filter your search for files by selecting one or more tag names from a list or by typing a tag name.
Use the following procedures to tag one or more files or to search for files using one or more tags.
For example, in the Shared with Me view, click Find a tag in the Public Tags section and select TagA from the tag cloud to display a list of all available files that contain TagA. Type TagB in the tag field to display a list of files that contain both TagA and TagB. Type TagC in the tag field to display a list of files that contain TagA, TagB, and TagC.
If you entered three tags, each additional tag that you enter overwrites one of the three previous tags. However, the Files administrator can specify that more than three tags be allowed for this type of filtering.
